My first wk at the bank was quite a pleasant experience. Shall not disclosure much about what I do and learn there due to the banking secrecy act.

My colleagues and bosses were very nice. They talked to me and offered me many valuable advices.

I realised my naiveness in thinking that studies and qualifications are the key to a successful person. There are thousands of degree holders in the market, but it is how you package yourself as a person and present to others that will make you stand out. An intelligent person will not necessary be successful. But a person with the right attitude and soft skills will excel in his or her job.

The focus of my internship will be to discover my strengths and weakness, and hopefully find a department that fits me. In addition, i hope to learn how successful bankers behave and work.

P.S: Taking another twist in choosing my uni course. Sticking to biz so that i can develop my soft skills further. It will be a waste for me take acc but not practise acc aft i graduate since i hate the job of an accountant.

This is a long overdue post. My vacation to turkey was indeed a rewarding and enriching experience. As always, i liked to ponder about things whenever I travel.

i thank our ancestors who started civilisation leading us to our present state in the world. If not for their inventions and knowledge, we will still be running around hunting animals today!

i can understand why certain people wanted to join the government because they genuinely want to make a difference in the lives of their citizens. i salute these people.

i feel that the Roman civilisation has a large impact on our society today. The way the Roman empire was being run was somehow close to what is happening today in terms of governance and commerce.

And lastly, i am glad to have met new friends on the trip and they have offered me valuable advice on my studies. Because of that, i will be thinking of changing my uni course!

Athena is the name of the Goddess of Wisdom in the Roman Civiliation. Hmmmm, sounds like a good name for my daughter next time. Haha.

How i wish the Legend of Jesus's Cross and Helen was true! Then i could resurrect people.
